Safety Milestone: 6 Million Safe Man-Hours at MGS 3 – Zone 2 Project
Senior leadership from Aramco and Alruwais came together to celebrate a major safety milestone at MGS 3 – Zone 2, where Alruwais Sicim JV achieved 6 million safe man-hours without Lost Time Incidents. Package 14 and Package 10 each contributed 3 million safe man-hours, reflecting the dedication, planning, and teamwork of all site personnel.
The celebration brought together senior leadership and key project personnel. Representing Aramco, Tarek Bsarawi, Director, opened the event, emphasizing the national significance of the project and quoting His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy: “This project is close to both my heart and my mind.” From Alruwais Sicim JV, project managers, Ayman Abdullah, Raji Al Samrani, and Giuseppe Roda, along with Ahmed Ishaq, HSE Manager, joined the ceremony, highlighting the team’s operational excellence and commitment to safety. Michael Fakhoury, Vice President of Energy at Alruwais, recognized the strong collaboration and alignment between all teams that made this achievement possible.
The event concluded with group photos and light refreshments, capturing the pride and collective effort of the workforce. This milestone reinforces Alruwais Sicim JV’s commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
